I am a 30 year old freelance marketer, but at heart I am and have always been an artist.

I started drawing ever since I can remember, and at secondary school I was lucky to have an art teacher who exposed us to many different styles and mediums which allowed us to fully explore and identify what we want to put out there in the world.
In the summer of 2023, I started applying to participate in collective exhibitions and in August 2024 I launched my online shop www.johannscreations.com. I was also lucky to find a number of local businesses who were willing to display my art at their locations for promotional purposes including Elephant Shoe (Valletta), Rinaxximent Tattoo Studio (Mosta) and Thrift In The City (Valletta).
I like to describe my art as very vibrant and cheeky, but typically with an additional Maltese or queer twist, or both. The duality of making a statement whilst simultaneously producing something aesthetically pleasing that can make people smile is probably what gives me the most satisfaction as an artist.
I am currently focusing solely on my online shop www.johannscreations.com where I provide worldwide shipping and delivery. Over there I sell stickers, magnets, keychains, pins, coasters, prints and postcards. Furthermore, I collaborate with local designer Parascandalo to produce t-shirts, tote bags and mugs with my designs, which are also available to order from my website.
