The 21st edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival will be taking place on seven nights between Monday 24th April and Sunday 30th April 2023. Each night promises to be a beautiful display of colour and coordination, and the closing night is bound to be a true spectacle.

The festival also has a competitive edge! Each year, the festival hosts a Pyromusical competition, which means that the fireworks are designed to match the rhythm of a musical number! Awards are then distributed to the most impressive displays.
FORT ST ANGELO LENDS ITSELF BEAUTIFULLY AS A VANTAGE POINT DURING THE FIREWORKS FESTIVAL
Fireworks Grand Harbour Fort St Angelo at Night
The magnificent Fort St Angelo in Birgu will lend itself beautifully as a vantage point from where one can watch the spectacular display offered by the Malta International Fireworks Festival on Sunday 30th April. Visitors may start their evening with a stroll around the fort, which boasts a history of at least 800 years. All areas of the fort will be available to explore, except Upper Fort St Angelo which is administered by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Wine and light snacks may be purchased on site.
