6th September – Pride Fashion Show @ The Black Pearl
Throughout history, many individuals from the LGBTQ* community have found a safe haven within the fashion industry which gave them the opportunity to better their living conditions and thrive creatively – enabling them to embrace who they really are. To this extent, this year’s Malta Pride will celebrate the local fashion scene with designers, models, and artists who form part of the LGBTQ* community and their allies with the first-ever PRIDE FASHION SHOW followed by an after-party! 7th September – Michelangelo Pre Pride Party 2019 @ Michelangelo
At Michelangelo Club with international dj, international Gogo”s and local artists.
7th September – Ġbejniet Frisky @ Victoria Gozo
Ġbejniet Frisky is a fresh new campaign from LGBTI+ Gozo.
Held on September 7th at the Ministry for Gozo, as part of Malta Pride 2019. We will together take a look at the lifestyle and coming out experience in Gozo.
As the year’s Malta Pride theme is from “Riots to Rainbows” 50 years from Stonewall, we saw to get in touch with inter-generational Gozitans and learn more about their coming out experiences and what is needed more on the island of Gozo to have a truly diverse and accepting society. This event is for free and open to all.
7 – 8 September – Suspicious Baggage • Stand-Up Comedy
Stand-up comic and sweaty lady Chucky Bartolo is back with a brand new comedy show! Last March with Just Visiting, he sold out all four nights (well, except the one he stupidly placed on St. Patrick’s Day) and now he’s ready to write event descriptions in the third person. Also, to continue making you laugh till your sides hurt.

8th September – Womanity presents the Pre Pride Pool Party @ Omnia by Medasia
Bigger and better the Pre Pride Pool Party is a celebration for all LGBTQI – One Love. Watch this space, there’s a lot coming your way, more to come out soon, we promise you an event to remember!
11th September – Party n’ Play – Discussing Chemsex in the Queer Community
We do not hear much about it, let alone be educated enough to make sound decisions when ‘caught in the moment’. ‘Chemsex’ is the practice of having sex whilst being high on substances including drugs. In this seminar we engage a conversation with a sexual health doctor and an individual with personal experience in the chemsex scene. We discuss terms, sexual health practices, risks and resources available as well as what we would like to see more of as a community for our wellbeing. Event page link.
11th September – MAC Drag Queen Masterclass @ MAC Cosmetics Valletta
MAC Drag Queen Masterclass with MAC Makeup Trainer Visiting from Italy.
Learn everything you need to know (but were afraid to ask) about DRAG QUEEN makeup with our special guest trainer from ITALY. Whether you are a professional makeup artist, drag queen or MAC makeup addict this is truly an event not to be missed! Watch and learn professional techniques as our MAC trainer demonstrates DRAG QUEEN looks during this in-depth three hour class with bubbly breaks, special treats and surprise guests. 12th September – Orpheum Cabaret @ Orpheum
As part of the Pride Week celebrations, some of the finest entertainers are coming together to perform in a special Cabaret Show at the legendary Orpheum Theatre. Artists will be announced soon. In the meantime, you can grab the early bird tickets to make sure you experience this one night ONLY event. Life is a Cabaret, so come to the Orpheum Cabaret!
13th September – Human Rights Conference @ The Palace Hotel
The Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, and Sex Characteristics Unit within the Human Rights & Integration Directorate will be hosting its first annual conference. It will include the presentation of the annual report, a keynote speech by Tony Briffa (Intersex Activist) and two panel discussions, the first focusing on mainstreaming initiatives being implemented nationally and the second on Malta’s role in advancing LGBTIQ equality at the global level. 13th September – How Diversity supports Innovation – Discussion hosted x Mr Green
Malta is a very diverse and inclusive country and within Mr. Green’s company culture, we value the same qualities. Diversity brings many various ideas and fosters innovation, inclusion creates openness and security. Also, it’s very important to feel free and feel yourself at your workplace. Join thousands of LGBTQ+ individuals & allies, supporting organisations, human rights groups, and many others as we fill the streets of Valletta with colour, love, and march for an accepting society for all. We are stoked to announce that THE PRIDE MARCH will start from TRIQ SARRIA / THE GRANARIES in Floriana on Saturday 14th September. We’ll be meeting at 1700hrs there with awesome FLOATS, amazing music and street performances, FREE GIVEAWAYS, speeches and more. Our route will be going into Republic Street and stopping at PJAZZA SAN ĠORĠ, Valletta where the Pride Concert will be held until 2300hrs.
