2nd September 9.30PM: The 2022 Malta Pride Week Opening Party @ Aria Complex
he opening night will be more than just a club night! We’ll be bringing you a line-up of entertainment to make it a night to remember! Starting off with a queer themed fashion show followed by performers, including singers, drag artists and dancers.
3 amazing DJs will be giving you fresh tunes to dance throughout the night!
3rd September 5PM: Gozo Pride March @ Victoria, Gozo
On Saturday 3rd of September at 17:00 – the FIRST EVER PRIDE MARCH in Gozo will launch from Qawsalla Hub and head towards Villa Rundle.
Share with your family, invite your friends from far and wide and let us make HISTORY together.
Qawsalla Hub will open the day of the March at 9am where you can get your slogans and charts ready for the march.
Pride is a safe and brave space where people from all walks of life, gender identity, sexual orientation, gender expression, allies, families, organisations and friends come together at this celebration of diversity and love.
There will be a DJ Set to entertain us all and dance the night away.
The FIRST ever pride march in Gozo is held in collaboration with Malta Pride host of Euro Pride 2023, Allied Rainbow Community, the Ministry for Gozo & Parliamentary Secretariat for Reforms and Equality.

4th September 6PM: Pride Open Mic 2022 @ Maori
Come and join us in celebrating Pride with an Open Mic.
This Open Mic has a queer theme and anyone can participate, in any language. People interested to perform should send an email to kitbaqueer2018@gmail.com with brief details of the piece(s) to sign up as soon as possible so that we can draft the line-up. While there could be spots left on the day, these are not guarateed.

What are we to expect from this talk?
This talk is about both the personal experiences of living with dementia as an LGBTQ+ person of colour and an opportunity to hear about the small changes you can make to your service to be more inclusive and accessible to a community that faces many
health inequalities and barriers to accessing healthcare.

Some like to do it on Dating Apps and some like it old school! Gayguidemalta.com in collab with ARC are bringing a face-to-face speed-dating and networking event for LGBTIQ people.
All genders & sexual preferences are welcome. We will do our best to facilitate your efforts in finding someone you like, but even though you may not find your soul mate, you could find new awesome people to hang out or event to widen your network!

6th September 7PM: Pride 22 – Community Dialogue by MGRM @ Dar l-Ewropa, Valletta
As part of Malta Pride week, we would like to invite you to this year’s community dialogue, which will be hosted by Dr. Angele Deguara.
We would like to use this as an opportunity for different intersections of the community to address and tackle different issues, currently faced on the island. This will not be a panel discussion, but a space for everyone to interact and dialogue in a safe environment.

For this event, we’ll be making our voices heard against Malta’s discriminatory blood donation policy that prohibits gay and bi men, including those in monogamous relationships, from donating blood unless they haven’t been abstinent from sex for a year prior.
It’s a CODE RED emergency So dress up in touches of luscious red, put on those ruby red heels and strut down Beachaven on the 10th of September to raise awareness. You could be the lucky winner this month and get free entrance to our following event

Although awareness is important, we believe that actions are louder than words. Therefore, we will be collaborating with the Maltese National Youth Council in the upcoming few weeks.

11th September 5.30PM: Pride around the Grand Harbour @ Le Regatta
Our 2nd version of Pride Around the Grand Harbour! This year you’ll have a bit more time to decorate your boat and it will be followed by a live performance of ultimate 80’s hits by singer and performer Davey Stuart.
To make this event a success, we invite you to come dressed in colourful attire and any Pride accessories you may have to decorate your boat.
Le Regatta Restaurant will be offering all boats a complimentary bottle of prosecco and nibbles once you return from the parade and will have on hand an assortment of optional menu items and drinks for those wishing to stay on for the music.
Timing: Sunday 11 September (Be there from 5:30pm to prepare. Boats depart at 18:30pm sharp!
