On the occasion of the three day cultural event, Gozo Alive, Heritage Malta will be opening its museums and sites in Gozo for free on Saturday 19th May.
The sites which will be open are Gozo Museum of Archaeology, Old Prison, Gozo Nature Museum and Gran Castello Historic House all situated in the Citadel and Ġgantija Temples and Ta’ Kola Windmill at Xagħra.
The four Heritage Malta’s museums in the Citadel will open from 9.00am till 5.00pm as well as from 7.30pm till 11.30pm. The Citadel Visitors’ Centre will also open for free. Ġgantija Temples and Ta’ Kola Windmill will open as per normal opening hours, that is between 9.00am and 5.15pm.
During the open day guided tours will be available at four Heritage Malta’s sites. These include Old Prison at 10.00am, Ġgantija Temples at 11.00am, Gran Castello Historic House at 11.30am and Ta’ Kola Windmill at 12.00pm.
